Echoes of Eternity

As the DECOL team, together with the Renaixance team, we had the privilege of creating an extraordinary real-time AV performance for the Experience Vision 2025 closing ceremony—hosted on the main stage of the iconic Le Grand Rex cinema in Paris—merging art, neuroscience, and technology into a unique experience.

Our custom solution transformed EEG data from the pianists and audience into a dynamic visual spectacle by combining brainwave data, audio input, and multiple layers of data flow. Through this process, we visualized the unseen, creating a living dialogue between sound and emotion—brought to life using @touchdesigner.

At the heart of “Echoes of Eternity” was a singular duet: live piano performances by Min-Jung Kym and Pablo Esquivel, synchronized with Steinway & Sons’ Spirio|r self-playing piano. Together, we crafted a data-driven journey that fused human creativity with cutting-edge technology.
